About Christopher Still:

Artist Christopher Still is a native Floridian and Tarpon Springs resident. Tarpon Arts has been honored to display reproductions of Still’s artwork in the Heritage Museum for many years. In 2015 Christopher Still gifted the museum with a magnificent new collection of ten reproductions of his work on display in the Gen Haley Ecology Wing. He and wife Kelly, also donated an autobiographical book with vivid photos of the ten paintings that can be purchased at the museum with proceeds supporting Tarpon Arts.

His paintings can be found in museums and private collections including the Governor’s Mansion of Florida and the Smithsonian Institution. In the Tampa Bay Area his work can be seen at the St. Petersburg City Hall, Tampa International Airport, Sandpearl Resort, Ruth Eckerd Hall, Opal Sands Resort and the Tarpon Springs Public Library.

Of special note are ten murals commissioned by the Florida House of Representatives in which the artist depicts Florida’s historic and natural beauty. In 2010, he was inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame and is the Artist in Residence for the Florida Legislature. In May 2016, Florida State University granted an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree to artist Christopher Still, renowned for his highly realistic, detailed paintings of Florida’s people, past and natural beauty. http://www.christopherstill.com
