Flip Flop Opera – Giuseppe Verdi’s Aida

The New Century Opera presents an exciting afternoon of highlights from Aïda, one of Giuseppe Verdi’s greatest and most popular operas.  An exciting story of love, battle, and betrayal set in Ancient Egypt, Aida features some of its composer’s most beautiful music and has delighted audiences since its premiere in 1871.  Constantine Grame, NCO’s Artistic Director, will fill in the story and share some fun facts about the opera and its history.
