Serge has just purchased an expensive painting. It’s all white with white diagonal lines. To his friend Marc, the painting is a joke, but Serge insists Marc doesn’t have the proper criterion to judge the work. Another friend, Ivan, finds himself pulled into the disagreement. Eager to please, Ivan tells Serge he likes the painting. Lines are drawn and these old friends square off over the canvas that borders on either destroying or reaffirming their friendships.
